30 Days of Christmas - Day 9

Hello Bloggers.  How has your week been so far?

We are half way to the weekend and this makes me very excited... but what makes me even MORE excited is the fact that I'm finally able to show you this next card.

(click photos to enlarge)

"Elf Kaylee" is a digital stamp from Some Odd Girl, and she's so cute and bright.  I wanted this card to be more traditional (in the color sense) and add some updated touches, like bling, twine and embossing.

I will let you in on a little secret though, I had to research her eyes because I kept coloring them wrong.  I just started coloring images using copics, never took a class, so if you see any errors please excuse me!! haha.  I think I'll ask Santa to get me certified next year.  I'd love to learn all about shading and highlighting, blending colors and more.  In the meantime I'll keep practicing what I know and share more cards.  [phew, that was a ramble-in-a-half!]

I hope you enjoyed Day 9 of 30 Days of Christmas and are excited to see what's ahead.

Be Blessed.
