30 Days of Christmas - Day 24

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

(oops, this post was scheduled for tmrw, thank goodness I checked).. lol

Thanks for taking the time out today (if it's still Thursday) to stop by and take a look at Day 24 of 30 Days of Christmas.

It's been like 5 days since I use my copic markers on a Christmas card, so I dusted them off and got to coloring.  I knew I wanted to create some really shabby Christmas cards (very dainty and pretty), but I wasn't sure if I could pull it off.  I just stamped random images and started to color.

(click photos to enlarge)

[sidebar: whenever I make a copic card, I never pick the paper first (because I don't have that many colors to choose from.  I usually pick the colors first then hope to God that I have paper to match it... lol.  This time I chose the paper first and made sure she matched it.]

So Madelyn is a Greeting Farm stamp that I purchased maybe a month or two ago.  She was on sale and I normally don't get that type of stamp (because she looks really difficult to color and very shabby), but she was so pretty and cheap that I couldn't pass up.  And I'm glad I didn't because she was the perfect image for the card I wanted to create.

It's pink, girly, fabulous & soft.  (just like me).. hehe.  I know the hat flower is a bit much, but I really didn't wanna color in the image flower and I needed to cover it up with something... lol [I tell you all my secrets huh?]

Anyway, I hope you like today's card because I LOVE IT!!  She's ready to visit her family for Thanksgiving and talk about her amazing job like the diva she is.  lol.
