Today the Come On Get Crafty creative team is on the blog sharing a layout sketch challenge. If you enter your sketch this month, you are entered to win a gift card to the COGC online shop.
I love the sketch that Danielle created. I wanted to keep everything exact, with the exception of mirroring it. Mainly because the Ferris Wheel is cut off on the left side, and I wanted to have the pattern paper take over, where the wheel ended. Putting it on the other side would've looked weird and off. Also to show you how you can flip a layout and it'll work just as well in any direction.
And as always, there's a list of supplies I used at the end of this post.
I hope you have a great weekend and remember to bring your nice camera when you go out. Even if it's to the grocery store. You'll never know what great photo is waiting to be taken, that you'll want to capture and document.

These "Aurora" diecut alphas were the perfect font/design for a whimsical/fun layout.
The fact that they are outlined in white help them blend into the background
and allow the quirky design to stand out.

Maggie Holmes has slowly become one of my newest favs.
Here I used some sticker phrases and cut them into different funky "banners"
to create a cluster of fun at the top corner of the page.
