your picture perfect smile.

last Sunday we spent lots of time with family and outdoors.
it was such a beautiful weekend that we wanted to take advantage of the weather.
before it gets too hot & humid.

we took so many photos that i would have to use 5 of these pocket pages to document.
so i decided to take my limited favorite and use the rest of traditional scrapbook pages.

i used the January Gossamer Blue 2015 Life Pages Kit for this layout, and feel bad that i had to cancel my subscription.  i hope to resub one day after we're done moving into a new place.

i also used touches of October Afternoon, wood veneers by Freckled Fawn, stamps by Studio Calico and Elle's Studio, and even copic markers.

this card was soft and pretty.
i used copics to fill in the letters and get a "heavy" feel at the bottom of the layout.
it felt too light and airy.
what i mean by "heavy" is the color saturation.
i find that using darker and deeper colors on the bottom gives the page a base.
