What do you do when you absolutely love a certain patterned paper, but it's TOO BUSY to use on a simple card?
You cut it up and only use a section of it. Then tone down the "busy-ness" with soft shabby touches, like flowers and twine.
I like that this is a modern take on a traditional card.
For Day 5, I used Carta Bella "Christmas Time" 6x6 pad, Micheal's gold flower and twine and a Pink Paislee black glittered phrase sticker to pull everything together.
The hardest part was deciding which portion of the hexagon pattern paper was going to make it on the card. The page is so pretty!
