12 DOC - Day 2 : Sequin Tree

One of the hottest trends for crafting lately has been using sequins in your projects.  I've seen it in scrapbook page layouts, project life, cards and even some gorgeous Christmas ornaments.

If you remember a couple of weeks ago I posted some CAS cards using sequins to create wreaths here and here.  I absolutely loved making them and decided I would try to do a tree.  It was a little trickier since I needed them to line up straight and in order, but I just love the look of it.

It was not as quick to assemble as the wreath was, but still fairly simple.  As with the other cards, I used glossy accents to adhere the little embellishments to the card, and Archival Black ink for the sentiment.

The sequins and gold stars I purchased from Cassie's shop PAPER ISSUES, and she sells them for such a great price, plus her shipping is lightning fast!!

I wouldn't be doing you any good,
