Remember To Smile Big.

If you follow my Instagram or Facebook, you'd know that I've been on a serious organization kick.  A few weeks ago I worked a little in my bedroom (which I have to go back to), and now I'm doing my craftroom, yet again.  It seems just as I find the perfect layout and place for my supplies, I figure out a newer and better way to store things.

Which is why I've been crafting less.  That, and the weather has gotten better here in Florida so I've been trying to take advantage of it.

But I wanted to make a little time today to make a card, and enter it into the Some Odd Girl July Sketch Challenge.

The image is "Sweet Thinkin' Mae" and I colored her using the "no lines" technique.  It was not as difficult as the first time that I tried it.  I think I'll do more of this style of coloring in the future.  The paper I used is from Simple Stories (which I find myself reaching for each time), "Vintage Bliss".  I added a few touches of perfect pearls all over.  And the card base is "Banana Split" by Scrap Happy Ohio.  They have a wide variety of colors to choose from, with their coordinating matching inks.

Have a blessed week.

Such a cute card!! Love the way you colored her up and your take on the sketch. I think it is cool that you put a little something inside the card too. Thanks for joining the SOG challenge this month. :)
