I purchase 12x12 paper and collections, with the most honest intentions of creating layouts, but ever since I got into smashbooks, I've found an easier & faster way of making layouts without it having to be perfect or extra pretty. There are those photos, however, that do deserve a "prettier" page and for some odd reason I always seem to get nervous when I'm about to do those. Layouts don't come that easy to me. I spend hours on Pinterest and Google searching for inspiration. lol... But for today's project share I forced myself to pull out some goodies and do something on my own.
I purchased the MME "All Is Bright" 12x12 collection from Rhonda over at YourScrapbookSupply. I love her shop because it's always stocked with the latest items. I also love that her shipping is super fast and her prices are always very reasonable. You can save 10% now by using coupon code: YSS10 at the checkout stage via paypal. It won't work if you pay by credit card, just FYI.
On to the layout.
I wanted this layout to be fun, simple, pretty, bright and capture the fun we had this day in 2005. <3
I used a lot of stickers from the collection and added my own touches of
washi tape, flowers, diecuts, pearls, snowflakes and bling.
This bottom corner does not come like this.
I created this scene using 2 sheets from the 6x6 paper pad from the same collection.
I fussy cut the angel on the ledge and the journal spot.
I really like the colors and design of this MME collection and I hope I can push myself to use more of it... you know how us hoarders do! lol.
Rhonda has donated this gorgeous Glitz Designs "Hello Friend" stamp set for 1 winner. I have this stamp set and it's a lot prettier in person!!
