25 DOC - Day 4: Washi Lovers

I spent a lot of time this year in the Smashaholics Group on facebook, and I became a huge fan of washi tape.  To the point where I had to create a washi catalogue book because my collection grew drastically.

I thought about my Smashy sisters when I made this quick washi tree card, because many of them are not really into cardmaking and I thought I would share ideas of something simple & easy they can make for their Smashy Pen-Pals.

But I didn't stop there.  I also made a second washi tree card, using the same concept, but adding a little more ZHUZH (as Wendy Williams likes to say), with using some MME pattern paper, liquid pearls, ribbon and punches.

Whatever your level of creativity is, you can easily make either card.

I want you to get out your washi tape (especially those special ones that you've been hoarding), and make something quick and cute for your bestie.  She will surely smile and appreciate the effort you put into it.

You can find a great selection of washi tape and other awesome crafty goodies in Cassie's Etsy Shop, www.PaperIssues.Etsy.com.  Cassie has offered one lucky winner a $20 Gift Certificate to her shop.  And for a limited time you can save 20% off your total purchase from her shop with coupon code: ATSTUDIOD.

For one extra comment today, just head over to her FACEBOOK FAN PAGE, LIKE the page, leave her a comment on facebook and then come back here telling me so.

Enjoy your day.

The Washi Tape Tree cards are wonderful. I bought some Michaels brand Christmas tape that had 2 patterns (Poinsettia & Music) to try out.
