Hi you guys, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend; I sure did!!
Friday I spent the day crafting & doing some online shopping. Saturday I was able to complete a few errands as my hubby stood home and took care of the baby. I ran into some great sales at Joann's, including metal clips on clearance, the Tim Holtz "Sewing Room" dress form die (saved 60%) and an OttLite (saved 70%). When I got back home I checked my mailbox and found some happy mail. 2 large packages to be exact; one of which I was not expecting and turned out to be a RAK from Jackie (ScrappingLatina on YT).
Well the package I was expecting came sooner than I thought, and when I opened it I almost fell in my chair (mostly because the chair I was sitting it is already broken and any false move will finish the process - lol). I was the winner of a recent I Am Roses blog hop. To win, you had to leave messages in 10 different blogs and names were chosen at randon. Except, it wasn't stated which blog had the blog candy. So the chances of ME winning was very slim!! I remember (as I went through the hop leaving comments) thinking to myself "there's no way I'm going to win this, but I'll leave a comment anyway because the projects are so cute"... then I said, "I'm not even going to check back on Wednesday because I know I won't win". Well, Wednesday came and I had completely forgotten about the blog candy, I came on blogger to see what was new in my dashboard and saw a post from CynthiaLooWho about the winners of the blog candy. I didn't think I won, but I was curious to know who did and which blog the candy was hidden. When I read the post and saw my name I immediately began to think of any other Damaris that I might know of who would enter the blog hop and could only think of one, in Miami, but was sure she didn't get involved. I continued reading the comment I left and was stunned to see it was me!! WOW!! I have been so blessed this year with winning so many giveaways, and I sincerely believe it's because I've been so much more giving this year.

Anyway, I wanted to share my story and also photos of what I received. I'm very grateful to Arlene, IAR DT member, (Arlene's Blog: http://butterflykisseswithlove.blogspot.com/) and Bunma, the IAR owner, for hosting this hop and Karla (Karlas001 on YT) for choosing my random # out of hundreds from her blog. I can't wait to use my flowers and show you what I make with them.
Take care and Happy Monday!!!
