So, I finally stepped outside my "comfort" zone and tried Perfect Pearls. I've been meaning to try this technique, but have been a bit intimidated (like other things). So after winning the Jennifer McGuire giveaway and reviewing a lot of her videos I felt compelled to try it. It was easy to mix, it was easy to play with and I can't wait to get back to making more things with it. I used other techniques, but using Perfect Pearls is what I'm highlighting in this blog. I also used alcohol inks and other "new" things.
I hope you enjoy and are inspired.
I have exciting news also that I want to share. Starting April I will be building my copic markers collection. As of now I have 5 (which many of you probably know since I keep bragging about my 5, lol), and each week I plan on adding at least 12 markers to my collection for the next three months. By the time I'm done, I will be sick of copics... lol But doing this means I will have to be very tight and restrict myself from going to Michael's or Jo-Ann Fabrics. Those of you know have seen my videos know this is nearly IMPOSSIBLE, but if I want to save money (yes save, because according to my husband I've spent 3x as much as what I will be starting April), and if I want to really get into coloring with copics I have to be strict. If I ever need glue or any materials to make things for Gio's 1st birthday I'll surely be asking hubby to go get it and send him with pretty coupons... lol!!
This week my plan is to get started on Easter, birthday, thanks, wedding and random cards. Also, for every card I do make I will place a 2nd one in my etsy shop. If you are interested in any of the cards I show, some of them might be there, so don't hesitate to check it out.

Very nice Cards hun. I'm telling you, you need to make doubles and sell some in your shop. I know you have a few up already but, seriously you need to make more.
