Hi crafters. I'm coming to you today with a few questions about sewing.
First let me say HI *waves* to all my new followers. The Easter Blog Hop is still in effect until Saturday (4/16) at 7am, so if you have not yet left a comment, do so here, so you can be entered for the blog candy giveaway.
Anyway, back to the topic. I have an idea for a really cute & fun Mickey Mouse 1st Birthday party invitation, but I need a sewing machine and I need to learn how to sew... lol. My mom knows how to sew (she makes curtains, etc.), so maybe a lesson with her 1 day will help (along with watching YT videos).
But my questions are:
But my questions are:
1. Is it better to use a regular sewing machine or one specifically designed for sewing paper?
2. Is there an affordable machine ($40 or less) that works well and will last?
3. Do you sew? If so, what tips can you give a newbie.
I guess that's it for now. I hope you all are having a wonderful week. As for me? I have ONE PAGE LEFT to scrap for my 1st Ever Mini Album!!!! I can't WAIT to finish. I need to print 1 photo of us (when I was pregnant) and then I'm done!! That video is going to be about 30 minutes long because I have 20 pages to go through... (long story) and a lot to talk about. LOL. I also have to edit that bunny treat bag video. I promise to have it done this week just in time for you to make them this Easter!!
Take care and thanks a bunch in advance for any info you can share.
