Some people are inspired by shapes. Others by photos or phrases.
I am inspired by color.
It's a thing. Where I start each day feeling a certain color. It extends to my wardrobe too.
Today, being that I'm feeling under the weather, I'm feeling particularly grey.
So I thought I'd use every color in the rainbow to cheer up my somber mood.
I'm playing along with the "Notable Quotable" challenge on the Paper Issues blog (see link below), and used a free cut file called "Color My World". I also used a few pieces by Elle's Studio and Amy Tangerine. I painted rainbow colored acrylics on a white sheet of paper. Let it dry a few days, then put it to cut in my Silhouette Cameo. I cut the same file and size again on plain white paper, and used some of the rainbow and blank white pieces to fill most of the heart. Behind the heart I spritzed black spray splatters from right to left, in a downward slant direction. The photos are from two different years... look at me breaking scrapbooking rules! And the sentiment is a thicker sticker.
Whatever your mood today is, I encourage you to express that. Journal about it. Add a photo. Use your supplies and always share you work with us in the PIFF group (link below).
Don't forget that each entry to these PI challenges earns you 1 chance to win gift cards to the PI Shop. Take advantage of my 20% discount by using "Damaris" at checkout.
Have a great day!
