12 DOC - Day 11 : Snow Angel

This year this event went so fast, huh?.  It was half as many days as last year, but I sure hope you had fun and were inspired to make something fun!

I decided to get a little more fancy with my last 2 cards.  By adding pearls, flowers (Wild Orchid Crafts, of course!), faux snow and diecuts, you can make any image come to life!

This "Winter Fairy" stamp is by Whimsy Stamps and they have such a huge selection of stamps, especially some beauties for Christmas.  They are one of my sponsors for this event, and have offered to send 1 person 2 stamps.  How awesome are they?

I hope you are excited for tomorrow!  It's the last day of the event and a day closer to choosing winners!!  Remember to READ THIS to know exactly how to be eligible to win the prizes below.

12 DOC - Day 10 : J.O.Y.

It's BLACK FRIDAY!

This year hubby had to work on this "holiday", so I've been home snacking on leftovers, starting my December Daily, cleaning a little and getting things ready for decorating tomorrow.  It's our tradition to do it right after Thanksgiving.  And this year it'll be even easier, because we never took down our lights or garland from the stairs... Ha!

Today's card was created in a simple way, but looks extra pretty because of those gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.  I just love that company.  They ship super quick and their products are always great quality.

(sorry for the blurry pix)

The "JOY" stamp is from my "So Tinsel" stamp set, which you can find HERE, and is actually shipping now til Cyber Monday for FREE in the US.

I added SU glitter to the Hero Arts "Gold" ink I used because it looked dull.

It's a classy card with a hint of vintage.

Thanks for stopping by Day 10 of my 12 Days of Christmas blog fun and remember to READ THIS to know exactly how to be eligible to win the prizes below.

WOC has donated a ton of flowers and embellishments for me to give to a couple of winners.  How very sweet of them!!

12 DOC - Day 9 : Sequin Snowflakes

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I bet you are all up at 4am, prepping your ovens to bake and cook delicious meals!  Me?  I'll be making a ham this year.  I'm nervous.  My oven sucks!  lol.

And if you're up at 4am, you're either probably bored (since everyone is asleep), or HAPPY that you get quiet time.  Either way, I thought you might want to start your day with a little Christmas eye candy.

I love the colors of this Lawn Fawn Christmas collection.  The greens and reds are so bright and cheerful!

I used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch and created a pattern on top of the green mat.  I added gold sequins in the centers of each snowflake, and liquid pearls in the center of each sequin.  I like sequins as they are, but that hole in the middle sometimes gets to me.  I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper and wrapped some white/gold twine around it.

Easy!

In your comment below, tell me what's your family's Thanksgiving tradition?  You probably told me last year, but I forgot.  I'm getting old.  lol.

12 DOC - Day 8 : Be Merry

So far, this is my absolute favorite card in this 12 Day series.  I finally did more copic coloring!  lol

I kinda slacked off on my copic Christmas cards, but that's because I had so much going on this past month.

In any case, I made this card fairly quickly.

I cut up some white cardstock to resemble snow drifts and embossed them with a hexagon folder.
I die cut a tree with green cardstock, diecut the words with a Lawn Fawn alphabet die, punched some tiny snowflakes, and added "snow" embossing powder.

It's so pretty and bright!  I love it!  And the hexagon snow kinda reminds me of this stamp, that was donated by My Creative Time.
